Description

The original of this photo, is myself looking out the back window of where I live. Its a lovely view, in case you're wondering. There is a big holly tree, a bay tree, some garden plants in pots. Its a huge difference from where I used to live, where the few was simply..a dead end street and a traintrack, and a factory. I made this piece just after posting my last one, as I was reading the comments. I was also listening to Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes. Best, youve got to be the best. Yadda yadda. And when I finally could tweak this no more , I sat there all shivery. Thats worn off lol, and I feel this is just one of my many oddly coloured expression-full pieces. So enjoy :) What truly sucks, is that I cannot, for the life of me, recall HOW I did this one. I know I used filters, of course I did. But which ones.. *shrugs sadly* One problem with playing :) thanks for viewing if anyone would like to see what I can do with thier photos, for curiosities sake, Im game. I get so sick of gawping at myself lol. cheers anna

hey ravenchild! if those eyes were aimed at my computer screen, i think i would be sitting here all shivery. i conclude that this a much better image than whatever is outside your window. your images rule! see you at the inbox.

This is an excellent portrait. I love the softness the light creates here. You did a good job.

Works well :-) There's something very interesting going on with the colours around the curtains and the flecks of hair caught in the light, maybe it was the cam but it's a slightly holographic effect, dunno if you know what I mean (you probably do). It's an effect I often use by offsetting one of the colour channels by one pixel to the side, it gives you a nice optical effect :-)

I figured it out, it was a saturation fill! dances like a leprechaun looks around..would you prefer a satyre?
