Description

Sometimes the simple images are the most effective. This photo was entered in May's Reflection/Refraction challenge. I photographed it in the late afternoon on the roof of my car using RAW mode. The black paint was turned blue during the raw conversion. I cleaned up the watermarks during postwork, but otherwise, not much enhancement was done in Photoshop. I saw this leaf on the sidewalk when leaving work but doubled back and picked it up before going home. I'm glad I did. Thanks for view and for your comments!

I think it's really special.I love the blue bumping against the leaf color.Very visually exciting.So simple and yet sooooo striking.It certainly didn't look like a leaf on a car but now that you mention it...EXCELLENT!!!

Excellent detail and sharpness is what makes this very good. The blue contrasts the leaf nicely. I wonder if a more brightly colored leaf would have been overkill. Maybe an experiment for later? KP
