Description
Went out for a morning walk and saw what was left of this sunflower... and it held its head up high even though its day had gone...
In some kind of small way I felt as if I could relate to it on some kind of unspoken level... like my beauty is fading and I am growing older and have been ill recently... still trying to hold my head up but dosn't come as easy as it did once ...I wanted to pick it and take it home .. but I couldn't tear it away from its place there..-didn't seem right...
Hard to explain exactly what I mean...

Even though its time had come and gone I loved this sunflower... or/and the remains of its day...

Yes, it is still beautiful and infinitely interesting, even as it ages, for it has such depth and character and shows the struggle of life. Ahhh, I feel the same way! I have some sunflower seed to plant out, and perhaps I can get some photos of them as they mature, bloom, and slowly fade away. :) Excellent image.

No sunflowers in bloom here in Ky yet sis Even my coneflowers are still green...:( I hate ya it sucks to be sick...got my results back...my nodule is enflamed what ever that means early malignancy and sending me June 13 to do a biopsy on Right Lung needle going in there yuck:( And true in center of this flower are tiny buds still waiting to bloom so all's not lost on this flower either:) Ya know I like that old saying Older women make beautiful lovers grin and age is like fine wine:) We have to keep a positive outlook if we didnt we would go bonkers I got your IM and when ya read this novel send me an IM back..I am here for ya if you won't to vent.. You have a beautiful heart and soul my dear sis Hate to see you feeling down and out but then so am I:( But at least we do wake up to see another day and for that I am grateful no matter how bad I feel:) Lovely capture sis Fell better soon k??????? What thoughts!!! Kimmie give never up, ever hold your head up!!! You are so importand for all this people here!! You have so much to give and believe a woman who is a lot older than you, every age hs something beautiful. May be the outer beauty fade away, but there are so many things you get for that. You are much more contempted, you have more time and you know things young people don't know. You see I'm in my age started studying! There is so much what is also wonderful when you are older!!! Even though this is growing older to me it is more beautiful ... it has more texture and interest. The most important thing is to keep our heads high what ever happens. Excellent work
