i have been gone for awhile and wish to get honest opinions about my return work.

You really want honest? First, I love...LOVE your arches and boat...and that single tree on the left and the sunspots. The only things that I might play around with are the foreground and the scaling of the terrain mat. Otherwise (imho) this is super work.
