Description

As soon as I saw him coming up the road, I was grinning. We hadn't seen each since I was a kid. Back then, we never went a day without talking about things. Constant companions through thick and thin. Even when I got old enough that I thought I was too old for such things, he still sat in the corner of the room, always ready. I'd been on the road for a few years, a mix of bad breaks and stupidity. At first, it seemed like a good way to find time to think. Riding the rails, sometimes working for a meal, other times stealing for them. He sat down and I gave him some coffee and shared my pork & beans. We had a great spot to relax, somewhere in Ohio, or maybe it was Pennsylvania, I didn't even know. I asked how long he'd been on the road and he shrugged and said we he'd been on the road forever. He asked what I'd been up to all this time and it took two days to tell him. He always was an excellent listener. *** Based on a real character named Bean Bean (they tried to get me to say "bunny" and that was what came out). Actually he still lives with me and resides in a very well-appointed comfortable trunk. Modeled with AmapiPro and made partially poseable in Poser. As soon as I learn the rest, I'll keep the adventure going. I'll tell about the time we joined the Texas Rangers (based on the old tv show back in the 50s, not the baseball team)
