Description

A New Variation of the Spiralize Batch Process script, along with a couple other useful scripts to play with when making spirals. "Spiral Symmetry Script Package" This package includes the folowing: { Spiralize Batch Symmetry Script } {-------------------------------------} { original script modified by Lizbeth } { (etomchek) 6-7-05 } { Variation of the original spiralize } { batch process script, except sets } { the symmetry of all spiral xforms } { to 1. This allows the flame to be } { mutated in the mutation window with } { the "maintain symmetry" feature } { enabled ~ producing endless spiral } { variations. When done, use the } { Desymmetrize script for expanded } { coloring options. Saves the batch } { in spiralizedSymmetry.flame. } {-------------------------------------} {----------------------------------------------------} { De-symmetrize ~ by Elizabeth Tomchek 6-7-05 } { Just a useful little script to set all symmetry } { values of all transforms to 0 } {----------------------------------------------------} NOTE: I'm sure someone out there has already made this script, but I'm including it for anyone who doesn't have it. {---------------------------------} { Random Variations, } { Non-Symmetry version } { Elizabeth Tomchek, 6-7-05 } { Changes all variations for all } { transforms except those with a } { symmetry setting of 1. } {---------------------------------} Some tips on using: Run the spiral batch symmetry script. Then use the Random variations no symmetry script and the mutation window (with the maintain symmetry option checked) to come up with something spiffy. Then either leave it like it is, or run the Desymmetrize script to expand your coloring options. you can also try turning the symmetry of only a few spiral transforms off~ makes for some interesting coloring. Thanks for looking, and have fun!!
