AWU
AWU (advanced work unit) was created during the 21st Century by the European research team lead by Dr. Drago Markov, renowned expert in the fields of cybernetics and artificial intelligence. As the robot population on Earth grew (from 35000 in 1982, through 1000000 in 2000 to 50000000 in 2040) creation of robots such as AWU was imminent. AWU could do everything a human could, but with greater speed, power and precision. In the beginning it was owned only by the rich, but after 20 years its use spread to the middle class and in 50 years 40% of households on Earth owned an AWU.
Dr. Markov and his team founded a company for AWU control, seated on a platform in Atlantic Ocean. Using GNAWUC (Global Network Advanced Work Unit Control) AWUs were updated with new skills and upgrades to their basic
