Some very little Dogs 'seem' snotty because they know that they are small & are quite high-strung & fearful. They tend to express their fear through agression,snapping,biting,growling or plain old "snottiness" as you put it & need an awful lot of patience & Love to reassure them that life is & can be good & kind-pamper & more pamper. An interesting photo!

This picture is of my Mom's chihuahua Chica. I entitled this picture "Snotty Chihuahua" because Chica is and looks quite snotty in this picture. However, Chica is snotty, not because she isn't love and pampered beyond belief, but because she is papmered and loved beyond belief...Chica is snotty because she is spoiled. My Mom treats her like a princess and now at almost six years of age Chica KNOWS she is a princess and acts very much like one.
