How nice...Taen was enjoying the bloodsports again. Even from her vantage point on the battlements Lady Rebecca could hear the faint roar of the Night Court enjoying the violence below. Well, Taen could just enjoy himself, she would be quite content with basking in the moonlight. "I trust you and your consort have matters in hand?" The voice, oily like a Cisran potionvendors, whispered in her ear, and drew a involuntary hiss from Rebecca. Even as she started to turn her arms were taken in iron grip, illiciting another hiss of rage. "Let me go, Conrad." Eyes flashing a deadly red, the vampire twisted in the grip, her eyes meeting the golden gaze of the man who held her. Had it not been for the bright moonlight he would have blended into the darkness as perfectly as a chameleon. "Hush, childe. I bring words from Dessius." THat brough a pause in Rebecca's struggles, as it would any childer hearing the name of thier creater and master. "He wishes to know if the relic has been hidden safely." "Of course it has." she spat out the reply, trying to shrug Conrad's hands from her forearms. "The priests who guarded it are dead, and we have hidden it away, with even better guards." "Good." Conrad released her then, taking a step back into the hadow of the tower, and nearly disappearing from view, except for those golden eyes. "Dessius does not want the relic to fall into the hands of the Fallen, the Bloods or the dracolich too soon." His soft laughter touched Rebecca's hearing again as even the eyes faded. "Do not dissapoint him, Rebecca. It would be a shame to have you greet the sunrise..."
