Description

Joleen is the daughter of the the girlfriend of one of my housemates. Over the last couple years I've been amazed at how many interests we share. I've taken to asking her moth, "Did we have an affair 19 years ago that I don't remember?" To which Joleen happily chirps, "I am available for adoption!" I'll be uploading pics of Joleen from the last couple years but I'm starting off a portrait done last autumn. (Yes, that's her hair color. It faded actually from its original aqua.) After the comments about the pic being too dark, I went and upped the Gamma Correction a bit on the left side. Then 10 hours later, I changed my mind again. I altered the contast and brightness levels. This is it. Thursday, a new, more illuminated Joleen.

i like the portrait a lot - her expression is intense... it's a bit a pity that it's a touch too dark... did you work digital or analog here ?!?

I dont think your gamma is the problem here, Looks more like a contrast/brightness adjustment type of problem. I really like the idea you have goin on here, but some slight adjustments on your contrast/brightness would gave been better. -- odd --
