trying to get a good picture of a bee in flight ............ had to get pretty close for this which isn't a nice prospect....

Nice action shot! Colors and textures are very alive here, only thing is he's only got one antenna... or is that some kind of probosis for sucking nectar. Sorry, don't know my bee anatomy too well.

nope looks like the little guy's missing a antenna alright moe. I tried catching some yellow jacket shots, those buggers move quick, hard to photograph. havent posted any new pics lately, been digging out a hole for a pond, i'll post one of it so you can see why i've been so busy lol... great job here chem, good capture of the bee. My new lenses should be here today :D!! gonna have to take a break and play with them hehe :D
