Neat and thought-provoking. Obviously, there's a story behind it. It makes you go, "hmmm..." and conjures images of a well-loved grandfather ... summers in Yosemite... Thanks for sharing!! mjr.

Well, I especially like your DOF and light work. I try to make a very similarly composed scene and I madly struggle with it:)
