Description


This is the first of many photos I took while out studying the geologic history of the Quebradas in New Mexico. This is about 45 miles from where I live in the middle of the desert. I am happy to see there is colorful life in the middle of nowhere.

It is unbelievable that flowers grow in such a climate....I can't seem to keep mine alive here in the Pacific Northwest where it is quite temperate and wet. Nice shot of those firey beauties :)
