Description

- Scotland, Ben Nevis - The weatherforcast reported about a better day with mixed periods, but more sun. I still had 2 days and it was a MUST to visit Ben Nevis (1344 m), the highest mountain of the UK. Anthony told me about the heavy tourismn there but the hike would be worth the sight from the top and there should be the largest waterfall. Here a view of the area I started the surprising tour and I didn't know which of the many mountains around was Ben Nevis, because its top was hidden behind a wall of clouds. I only followed the path and I didn't know where it leads to! Thanks a lot for all welcome comments and I wish you a perfect Friday! weekend is coming! ;o)))

It is quite a hike up the path of Ben Nevis :o) I did it quite a few years ago but couldn't quite reach the top cuz the cloud came in rather quickly. Beautiful rich colours as usual :o)

Reminds me of the movie 'How Green Was My Valley', even though we are not in Wales. If it were not for the stone fence, I would take this image to be of a land where no human had set foot and you were the first. Have a great weekend too Rita.

Sneaky - here was me thinking you had packed up your boots and gone home! The weather is certainly changeable around here - I nearly got snowed in there ... and that was just in the car park!!
