Description
This was a collaborative effort by 5 other artists. One day I stared at this photo of my son and said to myself, "I wonder how 'so & so' would treat this pic?" So I decided to ask them to SHOW me. These people that agreed to share this project with me have shown me 5 different ways to tweak this photo and just LOOK at the results! You can see the variety of gifts presented here and realize the talent we have in the Rosity community! My finished product (top left) remains quite close to the original photo so you can compare how each person worked the same photo.

Jodie it came out wonderful!!!!It was such an honor and a thrill to be part of this project.I loved every minute of it.It's so great to see the other interpretations of your photo.This really shows not only how different we all see the potential in an image but where that inspiration then takes us...Jodie-your pic was a gift from the start.What a lovely little boy you have.Rumple2-I don't know you,but I love the tender treatment you gave it.And I like your choice of direction,LOL!Gerhard-I would have done something similar,had I the talent and knowledge to do so.But it would've never looked as good so I guess in the end I was lucky!Gunsan-I love the dreamy quality you gave it.It looks so magical!And cbender-that psychedelic twist is so visually exciting.Love your colors!Thank you Jodie for your wonderful idea.I wish I could see them all bigger!Maybe we could show them in the forum perhaps? Definitely a community work. Amazing work ! I congratulate Jodie for asking the collaboration and all the artists that gave this sublime contribute. I shall not say here (or anywhere) which I do prefer. It is the WHOLE idea that is important. The verdict is BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!

Yes, it was fun to contribute and now interesting to see, what the others have done...---...for a short while I thought to make any double-exposure too, but then decided to strengthen the feverish, dreamy and cozy sleeping of the sick boy in 2 colors only... (I hope he is feeling better now...) --- And yes, a larger XXL posting would be much better ! And a bravo for all the other contributing artists, and for Jodie who had this idea !

definitely: i have to admit... it was fun - and i really love the way it turned out :) it's amazing how different the approaches are... but still the face itself has the same expression... the same feeling... dreaming, sleeping... quite intense... well and thank you Jodie for the question to contribute... i guess a nice thread with the XXL postings would be great! :))

WOOOOOOW!!! That sure turned out just PERFECT!!! I think they all look just amazing in their own way. Perfect subject to start out from too. And they way you presented them in this collage really makes them all soooooo much more beautiful!!! Yep, sure is a whole lot of talent in this place and your collaberation only proves that further. how compleatly facinating... i am enchanted what a fantastic idea.. I have to say I am a BIG sucker for the dreaming visions ones .. i think they are all really spectacular... lol now i want to play with one too.. ...awesome and beautiful compo the compliation is soheaven sent -what gifts prevail here!! .. Disney did the same thing in the 50's with a tree .. he had his top artists with the most differances sit down in front of this grand oak... some did abstract others perfect detail and some cartoonish... lol i would been the one today smudgin the tree... hehe.. big vote is in order here... WOW!!

Yes, much talent here. Good visual sense with artistic freedom and practiced ability to express... that is what I see and look up to such efforts. I started late..this kind of work is inspirational and very appreciated, first as the art it is and secondly as motivation. TomDart.

When the kids are sleeping you forget all the anger during the day :-) - it's great to have children (I have 3). It was a great idea to view these different postworks from different artists.
