Description
good weekend everybody!
;)
A little request for you who came to see this picture:
I'm more interested in what you don't like in my photos than in what you like. I still have a lot to learn, please help me to grow up and avoid comments made of a single positive adjective...

I would have liked a little bit more sharpness on the poppy... But maybe that was your choice. Have a great w-e!

looking to what l dont like which is hard, yes agree with pimbotin.. maybe more shape to the poppy as the composition is narrow in frame.. but for the movement blurring would of liked to have seen more of a wider angle ..larger composition giving the poppys more breathing room, but in honesty really like what youve achieved. hugssssss :)..))

This is really awesome but since you ask me to go find something i dont like... ehm... only thing that could be better imho is the dof, the objects in front could have more sharpness to them. But like i said, i think its awesome the way it is !! :o)

An overly left sided composition. Shows a wildness but not nearly enough connectedness. Interesting and nice silhouettes and shapes created. Maybe I would have shot this scene a number of times in the wind to find a harmonious random composition, your colors and textures are good. Not sure what the red stuff is but it's jolly effective and adds well to the color balance. That OK?

a fluttering of color & movement!! the title gives it further or more meaning... of an evil red! :] your vision presented your way, i wouldn't buy it but i enjoy seeing it as such

Makes me think of imagery U2 could have used some years back. :) It is hard for me to find to much to quibble about here, regardless of previous commenters, so that tells me you are on the right track. The only thing I could say is that the image doesn't overly speak to me of violence. Maybe there would be a way to compose it more so that it did.

i really like the top two thirds of the photo but not the bottom third...especially the left bottom side...but the contrasting colour looks very effective~

Look; if I wanted to accuentuate the negatives of anyones' images; I wouldn't be here wasting my time. If I see something that needs improvement - I would tell you. This image is very well done - almost like a flying insect's view!

Must agree with lak on this...not in love with the blur in the bottom third I as I think my eye travels there too much. But that is my opinion...Aloha!
Chaos911

It is a violent compo...very disturbing....but I think that was your intention :) bending the "rules" sometimes makes the diference.......P&K

bentornato! forse se i papaveri fossero stati pia fuoco .... non avrebbero avuto questo impatto "violento" alla vista!
sossy
maybe a little bit to close and a little to much blur? hm...must see the other versions! who is reading your complaint? LOL

Interesting reading some of these critiques..... I like the image.... improvement? Possibly increase the dof a bit? Clearly there is nothing technically wrong with this image, and I don't feel entirely comfortable critiquing someones aesthetic choices.

You got a very fitting-looking sky for this title and mood it implicates. I like the composition very much and the title seems apt for the image since we've got a WWII song over here about the red poppies and the Monte Cassino battle... :)
