Description
"It's the end of the world as we know it", declared Michael Stipe in the radio as I watched the end of mankind fall upon us, lighting up the night sky in a beautiful symphony of destruction...The warning came three months before the impact - a time that would have sufficed for cooking up a means to destroy the threat if only "national security", "financial equilibrium", "global market status" and "military interests" hadn't come in the way of global co-operation. We keep our vain glory to our fiery grave.

A glorous blaze of awesome power - I guess when it all goes 'poof' - it'll be for some higher purpose. Maybe we're just irritating, itchy little acne spots on the adolescent universal source about to be eradicated with a giant bottle of Clearasil...man, that stuff used to burn!
