Description

I watched a program on Alexander the Great last night and was struck by the combination of beauty and masculinity in the faces of the sculptures in the program. This is my poor attempt to recreate that. Vittorio (available at Daz, by me) Nicholas texture converted with the UTC (Daz) Anton's Egyptian rug, and M2 Egyptian clothing (Daz again) MagicHair for M2 (here in the MP)

I think yopu did a pretty remarkable job - pretty much how i alyways imagined the yough version of alexander! He is one of my heros! If you enjoyed him read his biographys by mary renault - the lion of macedon, the nature of alexander, the persion boy.

I like the contrast between the softness of his expression and the lighting- those very sharp shadows accentuate both the physical strength of the character, and his boyishness, and the softer lights just make the whole thing come alive. A beautiful portrait-- I feel like I could almost touch him.
