Description
Working on a composite scene.
Jagdp from gunpoint-3d.com
Sherman from 10dollarmodels.com
Daz M2
M2 wwII soldier from Renderosity
Houses from turbosquid
Background from google search
I retextured the jagd. Removed sand skirts from the M4 Sherman.
Used Grouper to assist in the importing of the poser obj file and textures.
I want to add more characters. Will have to work on poses.
What do you think?

So far this is looking great! For those 2 tanks to be in the same scene would mean that one was destroyed- probably the Sherman, which seems the case here. Needs some smoke coming out of the turret. In that case that GI would not be strolling around like that. A stormtrooper or 5 would be better. Also, more damage to the houses, perhaps a crater in the road... And if you want to be really cocky, put some Messerchmidts in the sky. I get carried away sometimes;-)

Actually the Jag is destroyed, see the smoke to the right? Well placed shot in the rear did her in.

Pretty good so far.

Not bad so far, but it still looks too much like a plastic model diorama. The sidewalk is MASSIVE and with that I mean much too massive. Never seen such high sidewalks before. Also there is a texture projection error on the visible sides of the sidewalk stones. The street does not really look war torn, not does it look like Tanks have been driving on it. And two tanks (one destroyed) in a city without any visible damage? Not even some rubble, dirt, debries on the street? Not very likely. And where tanks get killed, there are in most cases panzergrenadies along that had some fun of theyr own. Nive work nevertheless. Keep it up. :)

I agree with all, that is why it is a w.i.p. :) Just getting composition down first, then details will come.

super job on the whole scene, but all I see is the camoflauged tank is too clean-V

You are off to an excellent start! I dream of making a full diorama, once I get all the models together! I am a big fan of Shepard Paine, from the "Old school" of WW2 dioramas! The scale of the street needs tweaking, but this is awesome!! Inspirational! Clearly this hamlet has not been attacked yet. ; )
