Description

Hello all..!! I was out attempting to take a macro and had studied concentration and this little pug kept coming up to me... he lived nearby but wanted my attention and was quite curious about the wild strawberrys and what the heck i was doing there with the little box thing in my hands.. Here... (oh dear .. just looked down and my hands are bright red from eating some of Chrissys flaming hot cheetos... haha .. she's addicted and getting me to that point!) Anyways I am fascinated with the whole 3-d thing and am playing this week with a few ideas of how to pop the dog out ( tried it with a sunflower as well a few days ago..)..done by bringing the face out of the frame then blurring the outside of the face a slight bit.. most stuff i learn i teach my self by trial and error too stubborn to follow and directions.. :OP haha! It's a built-in challenge with any macro shot, if you go for more depth of field you are likely to get motion blur instead anyway ... but, you need a lot more depth of field here; I would not have blurred anything at all since you didn't need that to get the 3D illusion going, your head-through-the frame trick worked great for that and the angle & positioning with that is super. (I know I know, you won't follow directions anyhow L ... it's just that it's well proven you can too have your own work and win points up against photo judges too ~ well anyway I proved it myself more than once.) I absolutely love pugs ! they seem to universally love people, are curious and fun loving, and of course they are so darned cute in their own very special way.

LMAO!!!! ROTFLMAO!!! Now that expression is just priceless, lol!!!!! What a cool shot Kimmie!!!! You really pulled that 3d-look off this time, gorgeous and impressive work indeed. However i think you should try to bevel your frames a little less. They kinda steal focus from the photo and makes the compo kinda messy. Just my humble suggestion though....less is more as some wise woman once told me. Beautiful and funny work my friend. Keep em coming!!!! Have a most wonderful day #:O)
