Trying out my new macro lens, not real happy with the out come but here it is. Again, Thank you for your comments!! I wish to thank you all ahead of time for viewing my postings; I just hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy wandering and using my camera! Thanks for taking a peek and commenting

Also, if there was any wind, a slight movement could have caused a loss in sharpness. At this size, a little movement goes a long way. Still, looks like a great lense that I know you will enjoy once you "tame" it. Looking closer, it looks like there are some parts of the flowers that are in sharp focus. Remember, your DOF will be quite shallow at this magnification.

Its all about the wandering and enjoyment..and seeing the world with diferent eyes a macro world.. youve done exceptionally well.. the slightest movement can cause a burr.. wind is the worse l find..even a breeze.. just practise practise practise.. but hey youve done exceptionally well exceptionally ... just carry on enjoying :)...)))))...hugs

The learning is greater than the image, sometimes. :) I think it is a great image for a first time use of a new lense. It is better than what I would do! Keep trying though, and lots of good advice above.
