This is not a sea battle. It's an execution.

2 crits: the royal marines in the fighting tops of the Victory on the right, are way too big. They should be half the size. Also, you rendered both sets of sails on the same ship, the furled and unfurled. This is a no-no. Choose one or the other, but not both. During a battle, the standard practice was to furl up the lowest sails on each mast, to keep down the possibility of burning grains of powder from the guns or burning debris from catching the sails on fire, which was the sailors' worst fear. Any way, a good effort. It's starting to look much better.

As FitArtistSF commented, the lower sails should be furled.Otherwise an excellent scene.WELL DONE!

Excellent feel and tone. I think your fire is too brilliant, it just looks a bit contrived to me. Maybe try making the colors a bit less red/yellow? =) This is quite great, though--you've gotta love the smoke and splash effects.

Nicely composed image. I agree with FitArtistSF's comments there are a few things that need to be fixed up, but on the whole it looks really good.
