Cool. Reminds me of the Wizard of OZ. I think it needs a contrast somewhere, but not too bold.

Stellar lighting! I agree with the contrast suggestion, but nothing that will kill your render time any more.

Looks good so far! To me, though--it looks a little, well, flat. I would suggest either more objects in the scene, or else adding detail to the objects already in the scene. Particularly those pencil-like projections lining the sides of the staircase. Good luck, and as I said it looks good already!
