Description

Ok, please help me here. This is my first try with Terragen and I want to know, how can I make the water less exposed, and the mountain more sharp in details.

That's pretty good for a first try at Terragen. Much better than my first Terragen image. You got something good here, keep it up.

This render is really very good for your first try at Terragen. Actually, the angle and location of the sun will give the effect of a subdued mountain area and bright water glare. IMO, I like it just as it is. Very good work and welcome to Terragen and RDR.

Nice work for a first try, for water exposition (or reflections)in the water dialog box under reflections tab move the sliders of Direct Sunlight and Reflection Spread in particular to the left and you can also move the slider of Reflectivity Curve to the left too but a little less, for sharpness of your mountains I suggest a bigger terrain with an image size bigger than your image. Hope this can help you.

Thank you very much everybody :) You make me feel very welcome. About the image size, it was bigger, but then I couldn't upload it here.

Your POV is really good!!! About details, besides Costaud excellent tips, I think you should look at your bumpiness setting too. About the size of your render, you shouldn't have problem to get an .jpg file with 1024 x 780 resolution...try to see your save settings. Hope it helps!

Wow ! Is that really Ur first work ??... Pretty good... A bout what Thulkar said, take Ur pic and reduct the resolution, maximum 100*200 but no more than 15 kb. Enter the name of this "thumb" at the same time that Ur pic, in the box when U upload it called thumbnail. If U have done some modifications on Ur pic, then Edit it (that means U put it a second time, erasing the first U'd done)... Always make a thumb, because nobody looks if U dont. But U have to give it a different name than the pic U upload, otherwise it doesnt work. Good luck ! ;)
