Excellent Image! I like how just about the entire image is low-saturated wxcept for that green "arrow" (which tends to draw my eye towards it). Also- you show texture in this photo extremely well.

love your texturing ... i like the green arrow makes me wonder what its pointing to .. uh huh.. yep!

...I like this photo-abstract very much -- minimalist - but with just enough information to intrigue the viewer...very nice work!

Only textures and time which has passed!beautifull!A little bit sad,but great abstract! the small arrow seems to say 'rewind'!

Ooooh ooooh, i like this one!!! Like unstrung65 said, very minimalistic and also very elegant. A most beautiful abstract image indeed. Have a great day #:O)

A very nice abstract but I would have preferred a wider margin between the top of the white rectangle and the edge of the frame. Maybe this was not possible. The almost monochrome image with just the green arrow makes it very powerful. Well done!!

With the wood grain showing from the formwork, this makes an interesting abstract.Always will enjoy this type of texture.

another amazing abstract from you, dear egmont! i love all those structures here... and the arrow - cool! the error reminds me of my "time & inspiration"... i love arrows on pics... in some way... and this one here... well it slows down the eye which wants to hurry to the square... amazing ... brilliant... :) have a great day!

Ian, AKA: ifos, to answer your question, there was no additional room just above the white box as it was the ledge of the wall. I had hoped for a bit more space to equal that on the right side of the box.

Quite interesting. From the green arrow, to the swirls and whorls along the bottom, there is a lot to see here. Love the title, will have to ponder how it exactly it applies here, other than the lack of any language. :) Those bottom whorls almost look like wood grain, I wonder if they are left over from when the concrete was setting. Neat find!

Fantastic abstract, Egmont. This would make a stunning tapestry weaving.

You really have a painterly eye in this piece! Your composition holds so many rich textures of a well blended palette, that I truly had to study it before I could convince myself that it is a photograph, and not a painting..I think the best "Art" transcends the medium, when a photograph becomes a painting...marvelous!!!
