Description

I was inspired to do this pic from some comments of my cloud pic a few days ago. Some comments suggested that God and Heaven were involved. Seeing as though I like to do photomanips, I took a pic of my hand with brush. played around with some filters in PS and superimposed on my cloud pic. I know that God would have done a much better job with the hand, as you can see the cloud is a perfect creation that only he could paint. I was just lucky enough to capture the moment. I hope this come across as God's hand and not mine... Enjoy today =O])

I am not a religious man, but I am an artist of the old school. I really like the approach you have created. It reminds me of the old masters and their use of layers of paint (empasto) built up to create deep color and textures, and how the artists of old tried to impart a sense of the divine to their patrons and admirers through their works. A very cool image. I hope you don't mind that I saved this as a wallpaper for my computer...?
