As the Sex War rages in the Federated Territories, similar movements arise in many other interstellar colonies. Like the F.T., Sardis has a resentful majority of women, inadequately represented in the local constitution. The difference is that Sardis is fabulously wealthy, a fact which nobody, of either sex, sees any reason to change. It may not feel like it to the men on the receiving end of these rays, but the Sardis matriarchy is established with the bare minimum of force. Then everyone goes back to enjoying the galaxy's best standard of living. The men no longer have the vote and are barred from the police and the military (neither a traditional career of choice in Sardis, anyway), but they still profit handsomely from the system's fabled prosperity.
