My real name is Thomas McCann, I was born in Buffalo N.Y. in October 1952. I currently reside in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia U.S.A.,........I attended the Maryland School of Art and Design and studied Fine and Commercial art. I began working in traditional media at age 7 (mainly pencil sketches), then worked with watercolors and arcylics in high school. I started working with digital media about 11 years ago (1996), using Metacrations "Detailer", a 3D paint application. I currently use mainly Bryce 6.1 and Cinema 4D 8.1 and 3D Studio Max 4.2 for modeling and tweaks. I am currently learning Rhino and Zbrush. Thanks for your attention.

I like it. Especially the worn wall. Nice work indeed.

It's lovely! The texturing and models turned out great... I'd like to see hinges on the window casings. I like the wall textures, they're nice and crusty...

Awesome! Now THIS is ART! This looks so little like Bryce that it boggles the mind. Everything "fits" together so well; that is what makes it. The way you have matched the texturing and materials to the scene is spot on.

This is good, really good, but I have 2 tiny little gripes, honestly, they're so small I shouldn't mention it but......the bike looks too thin - it needs scaling-up some, and the ground is made of the same mat as the wall. Everything else? Fabulous! 'Vote'

Excellent work Tom. Good job on the models. Vote.

This is a nice surprise. The thumb nail made me think it was going to be another standard poser picture. But theshadow play on the wall really makes this. My kinda picture!

Excellent work, Tom.

Very fine, Tom! Love the simplicity of it and the basic design. Great texturing, too.

Cute, very cute. But it doesn't look like Mediterranean to me, more like Flanders or something. :-) Possibly because of the great lighting. I love the feeling it gives. But you should have done a clear, sharp alpha mask for the wall.

This is just fantastic work. Your textures and lighting as well as the layout is just incredible. Thx for sharing.

A wonderful, warm scene Tom. I really like the texture work, modeling and lighting, though I do agree with Bryster about the scale of the Bike. Excellently done. I have to give you my "ballot' for this.

Beautifully done. I'd prefer a less straight-on camera angle though.
