Well, what can I say? I like doing art.  I got into Poser a few years back and have moved onto Vue, Hexagon, and a few other programs.  I now have started a very small business doing illustrations and line art. So far, I have racked up a few publishing companies (Mongoose Publishing and Avenger / Comstar) two companies that specialize in Role-playing Games (RPG's). My work has appeared in a Core Rule book for Mongoose Traveller and a host of other game titles.  I have several more titles in the works.   I should tell you a little about myself. I am an Freelance illustrator. I have a beautiful wife and a stunning daughter that put up with me on the computer trying to get briefs completed. We have two dogs total, Lacy a shepard mix and Angus a pure breed Golden retriever. Both are seven years old and a real handful. Mix in a five year old, a wife, and a very busy schedule and you get a truely fast paced life. If you like something you see let me know. If you don't like something you see let me know but, also let me know how I can make it better. Critizism without suggestions for improvement mean nothing. Thanks again for looking and spending your time here. Nice. I like the close up view a lot better. Shows off more details. I wonder what it is they are mining for? He who controls the Spice, controls the universe.

just a thought..I spend an incardinate amount of time trying to 'hide' the horizon..you might pop some terrains in back, to give it more evenness..;) Great work so far..keep it up.

Cool piece. Could use some work. I like the concept. Try turning off the sunlight and using radials with soft shadows turned up. This will add to the realism of the scene. Try a more dynamic angle for the camera. Use the camera view and place the camera where you want it. Think of a scene from a movie that you really dig and try to replicate the angle on it.

I'd agree with thirdeye. This scene is a cool one and has lots of potential. I'd even consider giving te terrain a more "alien" color, if possible. As I am also new to bryce, I am even looking at this render and its comments as a sample to learn from. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful idea ... the scene is a little bright, maybe some shadows ... you can regulate the sun light and color in the sky editor ... Excellent work
