Still experimenting with my new macro extension tubes I'm starting to get acceptable results........ I kinda cheated here and used a little blob of wax to glue his feet down..
...serves it right for entering my laboratory and trying to fly into my ear :)..
I cropped this at the full res of the camera the little inset is the full picture the crop comes from.

PS in case anybody is interested I took it with an Eos 350D (rebel XT) with the 18-55 kit lens at 55mm focal length....... on 65mm of extension tubes with two +4 diopter closeup filters on the lens (from about half an inch away :)

very cool shot chem, :) I got one of a dragonfly yesterday I'm gonna upload later, he desided to perch outside my shop so no need to stick em' with a pin heh. Keep up the good work, get them little hairs on there body showing :)
