If he only had a brain!Sorry Michel,I couldn't resist!LOL!...They actually look rather forlorn and lost to me.Especially because they seem to be guardians of nothing!Very thought-provoking images in their own way...Not that I've ever needed one,but I've made a scarecrow or two, for Halloween, and it actually is quite fun.Love that you included a site for those so inclined.Un bonne idee mon ami!(amie?LOL!)

I've tried putting an owl around my vegetable garden but it did not scare the birds away. Hmmm....maybe I should try a scarecrow, lol. I almost forgot about these until you posted this scarecrow. Excellent capture. Aloha

Hi Michel Good to see arrived safe at home with some enternaiment on your way back. Nice capture of two very special designed "Vogel Verschikkers" they express lonelyness in the landscape to freighten birds, but appearently they are a bid affraid and not so happy that a photo is taken which will be shown to world!!
