A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

If he only had a brain!Sorry Michel,I couldn't resist!LOL!...They actually look rather forlorn and lost to me.Especially because they seem to be guardians of nothing!Very thought-provoking images in their own way...Not that I've ever needed one,but I've made a scarecrow or two, for Halloween, and it actually is quite fun.Love that you included a site for those so inclined.Un bonne idee mon ami!(amie?LOL!)

I've tried putting an owl around my vegetable garden but it did not scare the birds away. Hmmm....maybe I should try a scarecrow, lol. I almost forgot about these until you posted this scarecrow. Excellent capture. Aloha

Hi Michel Good to see arrived safe at home with some enternaiment on your way back. Nice capture of two very special designed "Vogel Verschikkers" they express lonelyness in the landscape to freighten birds, but appearently they are a bid affraid and not so happy that a photo is taken which will be shown to world!! Enjoy your weekend Henk
