BIO
My name is Todd Shearer and I live in the US, on the east coast, near Washington D.C., but don't hold that against me, it's not my fault...really. I live with my significant other and two beagles, Hephaestus (aka Heph) and Nyarlethotep (aka Nya). and the ghost of Yogsothoth (aka Yogdog) And yes, feel free to make the Indianna Jones joke about my being named after the dog. I am presently one of the great unemployed masses, trying to make my way into being able to almost support myself with my art and writing. I try not to be a one trick pony, doing a landscape here, a portrait there, a pin-up over next to the wall...yeah, there in the corner...or whatever else comes to mind. I read and write mostly horror, though I make a point of forcing myself to read at least one classic "should be read" book every four or five cheesey horror or fantasy novels I read. Presently I am working on Dante's Divine Comedy and coming to regret the choice. My favorite artists are Vermeer, Brughel, Barry Windsor-Smith, Bernie Wrightson and Thom Canty... talk about ecclectic. My favorite writers are Stephen King (there's a surprise), H.P. Lovecraft, James Michener and Douglas Adams. Anything else you wish to know? Feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer. Yerz, Yogdog

Not sure how I have managed to miss your gallery, but I am glad I found it. I love the tone and style of your art. Excellent stuff! =)

Great composition. Beautiful character. Her clothes look very good. Her sword must be really big seeing that scabbard. Nice lighting and atmosphere.

It looks like an awesome idea brought to life and inspired by an excellent song. Now, I'm a beginner with Bryce, but I've been using Poser for over a year now. If you don't mind my observations, the only real thing I see here, is that all of the trees looks to uniform. Same shape and size. I would just randomize them a bit. Barring that, I don't know if you're familiar with Larry Elmore, but it reminds me a lot of his work. Well done. PS - It's better than I can do at this point!

Beautiful image!!! Inspiration is every where we look. We have to remain on the path of enlightenment to see/hear these insights. If you actually understand my writing please let me in on it lol. V
