Description

The starship Icarus find a huge ancheint artifact in the Deneb system. The Starship is a nod to Star trek. I had in mind a sort of next generation class similar to the smaller ships. The ship modeled in Wings the artifact is a volumteric material.

lookin' good. I've had success (well, sorta..;) with texturing the ships with Wolfie's Lego Colors mats, but I'm sure you could tweak them and get a lot closer..great stuff, keep it up..

Very cool stuff Dann-O!! That is a very imaginative use of volume materials for the alien "artifact". The starship is great too.

Aha, found your strange volumetric! It's certainly strange, and would probably look good in an animation, seething and writhing... I like the texture on that nice ship, how did you do that?
