Description

This last weekend we went to London.. oh how I love London. On our last day, with bruised feet and unhappy sunburns, we made our way to the Tate Modern. Now I like art, and I was quite fascinated to see..for once, actual Dali's and sculptures by Rodin. That was pretty impressive. But its hard to stifle a giggle when there is a room sized canvas just covered in Purple..... but hey, thats art, isnt it? i do appreciate that, honestly. But I digress, this photo was taken in one of the view Photo Allowed areas of the Tate Modern. There were a few of these rooms, more of less sitting rooms in between galleries. And each had one of these amazing views. Now, I was originally going for a clean shot over the Thames, but everyone was walking in the way, and that was when I realised this Sitting room, had become a subject in itself. So I present to you, the Tate Modern Models. Who were mostly German, if it matters. I love London :) Anna No PostWork, original B/W digital. Thanks for viewing

Yes it is a fine place to be- I enjoy sitting outside taking pics of the people as they arrive, they always look upwards because of the chimney - lol. Well anyways your image is nice I like the way the people are in a little brick room with the world outside the window.

Thank you :) The building itself is a tremendous piece of architecture, inside and out.

I think I recognize that building... is that the one with the quaint museum of ancient TV sets and such like, a stone's throw from Tower Bridge? The Tate Modern's cool isn't it, gotta love that Lobster Phone lol... to be able to see Dalis up-close-and-personal and feast the eyes on masterpieces like Autumn Cannibalism is a real treat. I remember his paint blending being so good that the brush strokes were almost invisible :-) I really don't like London much, awful smelly stinking place, but places like that kinda make up for it :-)

lol, I love the fact that you took a picture of a guy, taking a picture. It's fantasmic. ^^ I want to go to London when I get older...I think it would be cool. And an interesting adventure, which is something every young woman needs! Great capture, it's lovely. ^^

That guy taking the photo was in fact making artsy photos of his girlfriend there, with her face half in the photo, the rest the scene beyond. He was most of the inspiration to whip out my cam.
