It's a good point of view, and the terrain is interesting enough. Water is well done, but lose the surf. Reduce the terrain height so the tops aren't cut off. You have an idea of surfacing, maybe needs only some varied rough / smooth / light / dark combinations. The sky, however is the star of this show!

As close as a rendition of the Wildlife gorge between Park Moabi and Lake Havasu as I have seen! Good start!
