Description

Another play of light and dark on the bark of a tree, this time with the addition of leaf shadows. You may recognized the peeling, papery bark as that from a Gumbo Limbo tree. These are great textures. There are some very fine details that could only be appreciated in b&w. I like the hue shift in these too! KP

one of the little things I like about this that nobody has found yet is the shape at the left bottom edge of the tree that looks like a fat bald man in a white t-shirt looking over at the viewer * =o]

I love the bark and so forgive me for saying, I wish you focused more on it as an entire image. Never the less that is an artistic difference as this image by itself is well ballancced by the darkeness and play of shadows against the tree of light. Have a great weekend.
