Lookin at yer first pic, well, I could only think of one thing: whats the big thing? materials? eeehm.. Well, i think it goes okay with this green. both colors are way too bright to look realistic... Try to do some minor modelling before posting the next one with this. Just cut off the doors, hood, and the front bumper (or smooth it out). Then, scale up the side mirrors, cause its way too small. There seems to be a strange rim around the windows, you allrady mentioned you wanted to change them, so just do it :D Cut the sideskirt too. And it looks like it has a strangely sharp end at the rear wheel. Wing looks OK! Add something to the front lights, build them up from the inside, they'll look far better if theres something inside! Make it simple, some spheres and cylinders will do! The wheel looks like its just a map. And very blocky. Do something with it. A good chrome wheel needs to be smooth to give nice render! Brakes are nice! Rubber shouldn't be that black, and a simple bumpmap would improve it alot. Also, specularity on the rubber material is important, and a very little reflection. How about adding a wiper to the windows? I know I'v never done that too, but these small details make it realistic! Nice enviroment. NOw, that you'r done modelling, can start workin on the car material. Raytrace/fallof/fresnel/IOR:2.6 And play with the fallof maps curve if you have to. That should do it. Oh, and forget about specularity, only use it if you want to make a chipped metal paint, but then you need to add a map to the specular slot. Dent, noise, and kinda maps will do great! Keep going, no pain no gain! :D And no offence ment, just trying to give some advice!

I like it...bright colors are in these days and car designs are moving in all directions for prototypes which is how cars like the Prowler came about.
