When I was dabbling full-time in Paint Shop Pro, I spent most of my hours at the PC attempting to create glass or glassy effects. Once in awhile I came pretty close to succeeding... but never this close. And then last year I discovered fractals and was immediately captivated by the incredible spheres you were creating with Ultra Fractal. There was something intriguing about the way they appeared to float out of the image with their perfect smoothness, highlights and shadows. (I've dissected your "Drop" UPR so many times I could probably pass a surgeon's exam.) In this image you've combined two of my favourite effects and somehow even managed the illusion of background reflection. It is awe inspiring to say the least... a real pleasure to gaze upon and proof that I have so much to learn. I cannot imagine the hours and honed techniques that went into this beauty.
