Description

Having a lot of fun woking with GI and something artistic created itself. There are no light sources, just the GI with an image map for HDRI (actually LDRI, but lets not get too technical).

It has been a lot of fun researching HDRI (and LDRI) and I've come to the conclusion that for use in Vue, LDRI is perfectly fine for the masses. Though I may work on true HDRI in the future, pulling a 24bit image (thus LDR as opposed to 64bit or better images for HDR) into Vue and using them as HDRIs works perfectly well for my needs.

Vue 5 on a Mac; no postwork;
Argonath statue from TurboSquid;
All other objects and all materials by me.

I like it! Your use of strong colors work with the composition to create a sense of ultra-realism that borders on impressionistic. A very interesting departure from your other work. I like it.
