Description

I was about to mow the lawn, but I saw that my seat was already taken. Baby girl was having her afternoon nap in the seat of my John Deere which was sitting in the shade of my tall Lilac bushs. She sat up after hearing all this clicking and whirring sound (zoom going in/out of focus *S*) ... she sat there like this, totally expressionless .. (Probably irretated as heck and definately disgusted! LOL) .. she didn't move from this position for the longest time! About the Postwork: I used Photoshop7 ... and also "virtualPhotographer" - a Free Photo Effects Plug-in I found online for the Photoshop program. I found I really like giving a picture an ambience look. I used it in yesterdays photo, "If Benches Could Talk .. " and now here again on this one. I like the glowing effect it puts out. Anyway ... thanks for stopping by. And, Thank you for your comments, etc ... and please, don't forget, I really want your input on what I can do/don't do, to better an image. I take absolutely NO offense. Have a great rest of the weekend ... Your Friend, ShariLyn

Awww, this is a fantastic shot. I'm amazed she stayed like that long enough to get a photo, let alone one of her looking at the camera. Cats don't usually look at the camera. Wonderful shot again.

Soo adorable. My cats definately don't sit still long enough to get decent shots of them!

Gorgeous capture Sharilyn. Love how your cat is offcentered like that. Really makes for a perfect compo. Also like your subtle choice in frame. Very classy indeed. That Virtualphotographer-plugin really is a superb tool for those that hasnt tried i strongly recommend it. Have a wonderful sunday #:O)

LOL!!!! What an adorable image!!!! too funny!!!! I use Virtual Photographer sometimes too! don't know if you knew this...took ME quite a while to notice...but you can customize all the settings. So if you like to use the ambience one or the others but find when you use it it's not QUITE there, you can make changes to it. just thought i'd tell you in case you didn't know. like i said, i was usin' it awhile before i knew that. anyway, can't think of what i'd change. i like this! :)
