Description

Bryce, Paint Shop Pro, Universe, Gimp, Wings3D, Poser This project is the result of a collaboration between sans2012, dann-o, and myself. The large structure in the background is a combination of sans2012's dome building, dann-o's towers, and my walkways, all of which have my textures. Everything else is mine; my models, textures, etc. (except for the Poser figures of course). Comments and suggestions very much appreciated! EDIT: I would like to dedicate this image to Rochr for his good advice and for letting us basically copy the composition of one of his images. Check out his gallery if you haven't already, it's more than worth it! (you can find it through my favorite artists list)

Just read the thread on the development of this image, fascinating! The only thing that worries me about this being a balcony where the two figures are standing - is how the heck do they balance? It looks a very uneven surface, that wouldn't have mattered if you'd gone for the monorail type effect, but as a balcony the walking surface just doesn't look practical. Otherwise it's a great image, I really like the mono colours, creates a very fitting mood for it. And the detailing on the textures is just great.
