Lorrieann Russell’s writing credits include the novels My Brother’s Keeper, and In the Wake of Ashes, and By Right of Blood.    She is a professional illustrator, and design artist and photographer. Her illustrations have appeared on book covers, magazines and calendars. An avid hiker, she takes much of her inspiration from nature, and the bulk of her photographic work is in landscape and natural settings. As an artist, her medium of choice is digital. I like this experience! Poser is not often used for still life and the postwork looks great! For obtaining softer lines, you may try to render double size, apply your postwork and resize it before posting ...

Note: I rendered this very large and have made several versions. For this, I was going for 'ink' so the lines are intentionally crisp.

There is a distinctly Mediterranean feel to this piece. The pen and ink/watercolor quality is perfect. The compostition is eye catching. I like this piece. I think the choice of "medium" works well. I can see it hanging on someone's wall. I think this piece is perfect, as is. I see nothing to change and no reason to do so.
