I was bitten by an adder as a small child and rather ill for a few days - though I still love the creatures. A terrific shot - and I actually think the partially hidden head gives authenticity to the setting.

You can see him/her watching you from under that leaf and he/she does not look pleased. Great shot, gives me the creeps!

What that translates to me "vipera berus..." is Patis getus her ###is out of here! Excellent capture though...cough cough...I think! Glad it didn't eat the lense!
