Well, perhaps any work could be improved, and you'll never get finished having that in mind :) IMHO this excellent as it is - a glorious display of the ecosystem possibilities.

Well, how to improve this pic ? First, moutains in the background are poorly presented, so procedural terrain could help a lot; Then flowers are missing a lot in the meadow foreground,; Around this little mountains farm are needed some cows or sheeps or goats, with for instance watering place and barn around the house, or beehives, well all things that's usual to find in such summer place. At the end, watching the house, if stone wall and roof texturing is really good, may be should you find some good wood texturing for the wall. Well I hope these few suggestions could help you and can't wait what you'll do with this WIP

This pic needed 3 hours to render , I put some simple(default)flowers at 1st, but the extimated time increased to 54 hours so I dropped that idea. Current pic is about 3.000.000.000 polys

I think it is really great. But maybe just one or two details in the foreground can be added for interest?

Maybe it is an idea to simply take away the background mountains. And give the foreground meadow a little more variety. Flowers and/or different plants. To be perfect it simply needs an animal or a character in the foreground as well to make the image a little richer. BUT, it is really really good already., Not much that it needs to become a stunner!

I agree to wabe and other comments - Bravo

Be careful what you ask for, its a double edge sword. excellent terrain. you have come a long way. I agree with others about the mountains in the background. Did you stretch them out of their natural size? Its alright to resize them but don't stretch them horizontal or vertically. it seems to me they work best as originally created. one of techniques i use is to texture the terrain with a large seamless aerial view. you can do a google search for aerial views of valleys and mountains. only certain ones will work. just experiment with it. this is just one way to try and improve the mountains, i hope it will help. flowers would help but i think its a matter of interpretation. the same is true with characters or animals. Experiment and develop your own style. I have improved myself but have a long way to go. I can clearly see you have improved. excellent work. .
