Always a fan of the 7 deadly sins. Concept of them anyway..*draws a halo round my head* When I was trying to figure out whether this was greed or lust, following the creative footsteps of my Envy portrait, I couldnt decide which this was. In fact, when I thought about it, greed is a bit like lust and vice versa. So I combined the two. I think the red conveys the burning desire, but the expression portrays the moraless greed. So there it is. Ive finally put some sort of style behind what Im doing, and the best way to explain it is Photo-painting. I think that makes the most sense. I take a raw stock photo of myself and paint the environment and emotion unto it, of course allowing for the nature of said expression to unfold as well. That said, Im not sure if this truly belongs in Portraits, so if anyone (moderators or such) could direct me to a better Genre, Id be so very appreciative. Otherwise, Im sticking with portraits.
