I found this portrait of my mother taken just after graduation from high school and thought I would try to do something with it... do a little resoration and give it a little color. How did I do?. I used photoshop elements 2.0.

I am honest, I like the old one more !!! The colour is nice too, but I prefer the old sepia one !!

Nice, but I think you lost something with reworking the hair. A bit too dark there. Lighten it a bit and then post them side-by-side. I think you are on the right track.

Ah I love doing this too! Great work with the creases from the old - I'm a softie too for the old sepia look but the color one is lovely - I usually try adding in color too just because ;-)
