Created in Painter IX with some post work in Photoshop. Brushes I used: Artist Oils, Pastels and Acrylic variants. Thanks for looking :)

WOW! This is fantastic work! Having just acquired Painter IX I'm now waiting for a book to arrive (the videos are too hard for me to take in and remember!) then I can't wait to use some of those brushes with some proper insight as to what they can do. Your painting ought to go in their gallery as a good example!

This is Exquisite! An outstanding painting. It reminds of some of my grandmother's painting. The look and feel of the wave that looks translucent is outstanding. :)
