Description

This is my second image for TEG's June contest. :) This also has a personal meaning to me. I have deep Cherokee roots on my mother's side. Its a part of my family that I barely ever see. Only three members do I ever see in a year's time and that's only if I get lucky. BUT one thing I'll never forget is witnessing a Cherokee marriage as a child. The outfit despite it being revealing, represents the white "tear" leather outfit that the bride wears. Even though a real one would be vastly more elaborate. I thought of trying to come up with a white blanket drapped over them or somewhere, that would really mean newly wed. But it wouldn't come out right. :P I had the two gift baskets that the bride and groom exchange in here but it crowded the image so I took it out. Truly trying to represent that fantastic sight and celebration as it should be would take me eons. But at least I can touch on the strength, beauty, and pride of the people. I may not see them hardly, but I still feel them. ****************** M3 & V3 character morphs - Me M3 Vincent Texture - Syyd Raven V3 Kimimela texture - Morris Dreamwalker outfit & Hair - Lady Littlefox Wildside Hair - Lady Littlefox M3 Native American Outfit - renapd, thip Background - zxcvb

A beautiful job, but I'd like to see more of the male's face. For me, it's a little too dark. Their poses are perfect! Such love!
