Hi all, this is my first attempt at adding planets to Terragen. Its kinda rough but Im learning. All comments are appreciated Thanks For Viewing

Very creative, and it's an awesome effect! Great lighting and colors, and I like the terrain and surfaces.

Surfacing is pretty good. Try adding a few more smaller stars for added realism. Check out Markal's gallery for some ideas - his stuff is excellent. I like the glow around the planet (but it appears not to be round - it probably got distorted when you resized it). Anyway this is a wonderful first picture - I hope we see more!

greta idea - agree with TwistedNoodle - look at Markal and Orestes work - Buzzzz also adds real life skies better than anyone - good work but i think the planet stands out too much - fade the planet and add some more smaller starfields - download a Universe generator for easier creation of stars etc - nice job for a first time effort
