Description

Continuing down the coast I came across some young people trying their luck fishing. Not the best idea to turn your back on the waves at anytime, especially in high surf. A little reminder of Mother Natures wrath was in order here. Yes, they were all soaked to the bone after this wave... Thanks for all the kind comments on this series and have a great rest of the week! Aloha

Great shot. Poor fools. Reminds me of my shot with Matsumi. Laupahoehoe Point. Aloha, hope you had a great father's day.

You captured it at just the right moment before it drenched these unsuspecting people! I'm sorry they got wet, but I'm glad they were there to give some perspective to the size of this wave :)

Wow, that telelens makes it extra dramatic! Those waves reach heights of almost 50 feet! Whew! Excellent work, those people add so much here!

Nice series of pics, think I like this one the best. Managed a trip to your neck-of-the-woods many years ago - 1988! but never got anything like these pics.

Spectacular. That is some crashing wall of water - I bet they were soaked! Good reminder of how small we are in the big scheme of things. Great presentation on this photos BTW. :)
